Sophie Shulman has published several short stories, both fiction and nonfiction, in various online and print literary journals, including The Chrysalis Reader, The Write Place at the Write Time, and Red Fez. This Is a Safe Place is her second novel; her first, called The Shadow Pact, is published as an e-book.
